Bret was introduced to roofing at the young age of 13. As a second-generation Florida roofing contractor, he worked every hot summer up on the rooftops all over the state. He continued on full time after he completed school. He then went above and beyond and obtained a Florida Residential Contractor’s License, as well as a Florida Mold Remediation License. Not only has he served the roofing industry well, he’s also served in the United States Marine Corps and has worked in local law enforcement. With an eye for detail and a heart to serve, he decided to start a professional roofing company that truly cares about its customers and their wellbeing. Salt Roofing seemed to be the perfect name because, as Floridians, the salt life is a calling. Bret believes you have to BE the salt.
A Lake County native, George has always been looking up and forging ahead. While his father worked as a roofing contractor, building roofs that protected the people underneath them, George decided to become a firefighter so he could protect people and property from fire’s devastation. He served as a firefighter and retired from the Orange County Fire Department, all while raising his family in Mount Dora. Always helpful, he has been active in the local youth sports programs, as well as high school athletics. George shares Bret’s passion for doing things right and treating people with respect and dignity. His competitive spirit and drive for complete satisfaction add to the flavor that Salt Roofing brings to the table.
